WHAT IS Fat Dissolving?
Fat Dissolving, also known as injection lipolysis or mesotherapy, is a procedure intended to reduce fat with a series of injections.
Marketed as a safe, noninvasive alternative to liposuction, Fat Dissolving is meant to treat smaller areas on the jaw, midsection, chin, love handles or thighs.
The procedure works by the synthesised deoxycholic acid injected into the area of concern. This solution is naturally made by the body, therefore aiding the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat.
Treatment Outcomes
Results vary between for each patient but generally, results are visible after 2 to 4 treatments with optimum results achieved after 8 treatments (typically most patients only require 2 treatments to achieve their expected results). Results last up to four years. Prior to treatment you will be consulted by our clinics Doctor, who will assess your suitability for treatment and discuss any further questions or concerns you may have. You will be numbed with topical numbing cream for your comfort, prior to treatment.
Pre Care
Avoid blood thinning medications e.g. asprin, ibuprofen or fish oils, one week prior. *Unless prescribed to you by your doctor, please seek medical advice prior to ceasing.
State if you have had any previous surgery or treatments to the treating area.
Post Care
Avoid hot environments
Do not excerise for the first 24hrs
Avoid alcohol for the first 24hrs
Drink at least 2L of water
Paracetamol can be taken if required, avoid anti-inflammatories
Avoid excessive sun and UV exposure for the first two weeks of the treated area.
Apply a cool compress to the treated area to reduce swelling
Massage treated area for 15 minutes per day for two weeks to aid in the fat elimination process.

Pregnancy or breastfeeding
Diabetic
Vascular, autoimmune, liver or renal diseases
Prone to chronic or acute infections
Hypersensitivity to ingredients.
